Job Description

Based in Hong Kong

Our client is a fast expanding global financial and professional services firm, renowned for consistently delivering specialist services to their corporate, private wealth and financial services clients across the globe. Over the past few years they have continued to expand both organically into new markets and via M&A. To support the business more effectively, they are currently looking for a high caliber Marketing Manager to join their HK office and look after the Asia Pacific & Middle Eastern region.


Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work strategically with the business heads to help devise the strategic plan and align to global and regional corporate objectives
  • Develop and roll out regional marketing tools and initiatives to support the local markets and bring consistency across all marketing materials
  • Be a key business partner and advisor to business heads to understand their markets and help problem solve and increase performance
  • Be hands-on and work with the business development and marketing teams to execute initiatives and marketing plans
  • Drive research for technical updates, compliance and standards; and draft suitable communications for marketing materials to clients
  • Work with communications and digital teams to drive compelling core marketing messages and value propositions
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive client relationship management (CRM) and software (Salesforce) to measure and track results of integrated campaigns and translate results into insightful recommendations


Suitable candidates are likely to have the following:

  • 8-10 years of experience of working in Marketing and Communications in another professional services/legal/financial services company
  • Strategic thinking with the flexibility to adapt and work in a fast growing and dynamic organization
  • Executive gravitas to work in a business partnering capacity and with senior management across regional markets
  • Self-sufficiency to work independently, problem solve and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to drive projects effectively and really make a difference
  • Strong writing skills in both English and Chinese and have the ability to assimilate technical and compliance updates and communicate in layman’s terms to the business
  • Strong collaborative team player able to overcome internal barriers and constraints, and have proven skills to influence effectively to win buy-in to new ideas and concepts
  • Management skills to lead a small team
