Job Description
Gafencu is looking for a Digital Sales Manager to help them drive forward along their path of growth.
The Role
The Digital Sales Manager will be responsible for securing advertising for a range of digital offerings, developing custom packages that leverage our offerings to meet the specific needs of the clients. The individual must be a self-starter willing to develop new relationships and able to nurture existing relationships. The individual will be tasked with building a pipeline and developing a strategy to meet and exceed the sales goals. The individual must posses the ability to develop proposals and campaigns bespoke to specific clients’ needs.
Responsibilities
- To exceed agreed revenue targets
- Practice effective time management being able to identify, communicate, plan and prioritize objectives
- Research, identify and close new business
- Build a pipeline of contacts, including luxury brands, PR companies and agencies. Leverage existing client relationships to introduce the digital platform
- Attend a selection of events for the purpose of cross selling digital services
Requirements
- 2 years online/digital sales experience or sponsorship sales experience, preferably within the events and publishing sector
- Ability to work independently, must have exceptional time management skills and work ethic
- Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships
- Proven ability to identify new revenue streams and execute a sales strategy that meets goals and objectives
- Positive, mature and ambitious
