Responsibilities

• Propose buying plan with new merchandise which in line with the business strategies
• Liaise with vendors on terms and conditions, pricing and purchase ordering issues
• Propose the retail price of merchandise within the assigned categories
• Proactively source new products and complied with established quality standard guidelines
• Cooperate with Promotion Planning team to facilitate brands / products promotion activities as well as design and established the guidelines of Visual Merchandising
• Monitor inventory level, sales performance, damage and loss ratio so as to propose improvement plans
• Investigate the complaints and propose remedial actions to prevent the possibility of any recurrence

Requirements

• Diploma or above with a minimum of 3 years' merchandising experience, preferably in retail industry
• Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Proactive, strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently
• Able to handle multiple tasks under a tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to details and accuracy
• Strong numeric and problem solving skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese (Japanese, Korean or Mandarin is a plus)
• Good command of PC proficiency including Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc
