Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Work with vendor and fabric mills to achieve the expected shade and color fastness, against colour standards set by Lacoste;
- Review lab dips shade and colour fastness for bulk fabric and garment production
- Provide colour comments and technical advice to fabric mills and garment factories to make colour correction for improved strike-off;
- Working closely with Paris on color requirements for alignment;
- Develop and launch color certification program for Lab dips approvals.
- Analyze spectrophotometer readings.
- Provide color training to Vendors and factories;
- Assist in ad hoc assignment if needed.
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma Textile Chemistry or Textile Coloration or related disciplines;
- 8 years relevant experience for all garments including knit, woven and & sweater;
- Previous experience in fabric dyeing houses is an advantage;
- Experience of handling different kinds of printing techniques and analysis of artwork;
- Color certified and excellent color vision;
- Good knowledge of colors and characteristics of dyestuffs for apparel industry;
- Sound organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Assertive with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexible, attentive to details, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
- Computer literate (MS Excel and Word);
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
