Job Responsibilities

• Work with vendor and fabric mills to achieve the expected shade and color fastness, against colour standards set by Lacoste;
• Review lab dips shade and colour fastness for bulk fabric and garment production
• Provide colour comments and technical advice to fabric mills and garment factories to make colour correction for improved strike-off;
• Working closely with Paris on color requirements for alignment;
• Develop and launch color certification program for Lab dips approvals.
• Analyze spectrophotometer readings.
• Provide color training to Vendors and factories;
• Assist in ad hoc assignment if needed.

Job Requirements

• Higher Diploma Textile Chemistry or Textile Coloration or related disciplines;
• 8 years relevant experience for all garments including knit, woven and & sweater;
• Previous experience in fabric dyeing houses is an advantage;
• Experience of handling different kinds of printing techniques and analysis of artwork;
• Color certified and excellent color vision;
• Good knowledge of colors and characteristics of dyestuffs for apparel industry;
• Sound organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Assertive with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Flexible, attentive to details, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
• Computer literate (MS Excel and Word);
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
