Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform fiber composition testing on fabric and garment samples
- Prepare day-to-day technical testing by microscopy and chemical analysis
- Maintain cleaning and smooth daily operation of laboratory
- Handle the difficult tests and provide technical support to the team
- Report any technical failure to supervisors in order to provide effective and efficient feedback to our clients
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Materials Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Textile Testing or related disciplines
- 1-2 year working experience preferably in testing lab or textile testing
- Knowledge or keen interest in various testing concept and practices is an advantage
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, attentive to details
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Engineer
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Engineer Trainee. On-the-job training will be provided.
