The Opportunity

Due to robust business expansion, we are looking for top talents to join our Global Sourcing team!  The job holder will play an important role in driving and executing sourcing strategies for Apparel (Fast fashion ladies) category. 

Responsibilities

• Achieve the company's financial goals and objectives by partnering with HQ sourcing teams, cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Maximize cross-functional partnerships to support business development, participate in long-term and short-term sourcing strategies to support overall business growth.
• Identify business opportunities to inspire and support/influence sourcing decision.
• Establish and maximize key vendor relationships for future growth of our business. 
• Coach and elevate vendors, lead program execution and manage intelligence on product trends and business opportunities for assigned product categories and geographic markets.
• Monitor the matrix health of our supply chain. Execute production management from cost/lead-time negotiation, supply chain mapping, risk assessment to production planning and issue resolutions etc. to ensure our oversights are there end to end.  
• Able to manage in-cycle and off-cycle sourcing activities at the same time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree required 
• 10+ years sourcing, merchandising and/or retail experience (Fast fashion brand experience is highly preferred) 
• Extensive knowledge of US retail industry and global economics is strongly desired
• Proven project leadership ability, including leading geographically remote vendors
• Experience in elevating vendor capability, including speed, flexibility and strategy, required
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal skills, experience in working with dynamic, multiple & remote stakeholders required
• Ability to think strategically and conceptually, strong problem solving, negotiation, planning and organizational skills
• Able to travel occasionally
