JWM Asia is an Asian based fruit distributor with subsidiaries in various countries (i.e. Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and South Africa) is looking for a highly independent, motivated and dedicated Finance and Admin Manager. The role will include primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Company.

JWM Asia (Hong Kong) Limited formerly known as Metspan Hong Kong Limited was one of the first companies in the industry to pioneer the value of branding fruit and adding value to supermarkets throughout the region with innovative marketing techniques. Having operated since 1997, Metspan had a firm understanding of the retail environment and had long-standing relationships with leading retailers in Hong Kong and Singapore. Metspan also serviced key customers in 11 Far East retailer and wholesale distribution markets. These include Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and The Philippines.

These relationships with leading retailers remain strong under the management of JWM Asia and since its incorporation in 2017, it has expanded to other markets such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, India, Myanmar and Malaysia. JWM Asia has also invested in prepacking and value-added facilities to better service the retailers.

We are still one of the most recognized exporters/importers in the region due to our strategic partnerships with importers and role players across the region as well as our understanding of the markets.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive cost structure
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the company
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company and various stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
• Act as a liaison between the Hong Kong office and our key shareholder in China. This will entail preparing various reports for their pre-IPO listing requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA highly desirable
• At least 2-3 years’ accounting experience
