Reports To: Chief Financial Officer at Headquarters NYC
Office Location: Kennedy Town, HK West

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
• Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
• Monitor the financial performance of the Asia department
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
• Communicate financial metrics to C-Level management
• Provide leadership and supervisory role to accounts receivable and accounts payable department in Acker Asia
• Communicate with HR (in US) on employee related item
• Work as a team. At Acker, we are not limited to the defined roles, and contribute elsewhere when needed

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant
• Post qualified 3-year experience
• Experience with working overseas, along with US related experience
• Experience with management accounting as well as financial reporting
• 3 years min experience as Finance Manager
• Familiarize with IFRS, preferable if also has experience with US GAAP
• Experience with group accounting
• Good financial analytical skills
• Language – fluent in Chinese and English
