Our client is a multinational insurance firm with massive footprints globally.  The company is urgently seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to look after their IFRS 17 accounting policy program. 

As a Senior Manager / Associate Director, IFRS 17 Accounting Policy, you will be responsible for the following:- 

•        Support the development and update of IFRS 17 valuation manual
•        Support the development and update of IFRS 17 methodology specification for implementation purposes
•        Provide input and advice into accounting policy and accounting application guidelines
•        Provide technical advice on implementation issues from other business units
•        Perform high level review of implementation results from business units, including accounting policy application, actuarial valuation basis, measurement techniques, and financial statement implications, etc.

To be considered as a Senior Manager / Associate Director, IFRS 17 Accounting Policy, you possess the following:- 

•        University degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, and/or related disciplines
•        Relevant experience in IFRS accounting policy
•        IFRS 17 experience is a plus
•        Knowledge of market based balance sheet is a plus
•        Experienced in cross-region projects and stakeholder management
•        Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
•        Immediately available candidates will have an added advantage
