Job Description

OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the Learning Commons managed by the Office of Student Affairs. Duties include managing the usage of facilities and systems; coaching a team of student helpers to provide professional counter service; initiating student development programmes; promoting student activities and amenities; and performing any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a recognised degree with at least two years of work experience. Effective communication and problem-solving skills, good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and the ability to work independently and in a team are required. Self-motivation, willingness to serve and shoulder responsibility, and ability to work under pressure are also expected. Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of Administrative Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
