If you are good with furniture engineering and are used to work with SolidWorks but want to get out and see the results, meet the factories and be involved in the complete development process, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will spend approximately 50% of his/her time on technical design and
50% as a purchaser.

Technical Design -

• Responsible for developing retail fixture, furniture, displays and fitout materials
• Develop furniture production drawings from conceptual design
• Give advises and instructions to manufacturers on how to improve and maintain quality level

Sourcing -

• Ensure retail fixtures are manufactured at required/established functional and retail requirements.
• Assist Sourcing Manager on continuous quality improvement
• Control and monitor manufacturers performance
• Maintain an uncompromising attention to detail

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

• 5 years or above of hands-on experience in furniture or retail fixture manufacturing and sourcing
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent and MS Office applications
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, open-mind and hardworking
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
