Purpose of Role

• Responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Considerable client contact is usually required

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• IT Professional Certificates would be advantageous (e.g. CCNA, MCSA, etc.)
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support  
• Basic knowledge of network/telecom setup, data security and IT best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot independently
• Basic understanding in MS SQL Server and Cloud Platform
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Good communication skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
• The ability to think logically, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
• Fast learner
