The Job

  • Managing Fraud and market (sales) conduct risks across FWD HK and Macau;
  • Conducting fraud and misconduct investigations, which may originate from customer / non-customer complaints, internal channels, regulators and / or law enforcement agencies;
  • Reporting findings, recommendation and preparing submissions for disciplinary reviews;
  • Prepare / review letters and other correspondences to regulators and / or law enforcement agencies;
  • Identifying irregular trends and provide commensurate advice to strengthen internal controls and / or improve operating procedures;
  • Identifying potential and existing fraud and market (sales) conduct risks through investigations;
  • Prepare management returns and reports;
  • Assisting in other risk management related initiatives as directed.

The Person

  • Bachelor Degree;
  • 7 years' experience in investigation / distribution compliance / customer service / agency administration within the insurance industry;
  • Able to work under stress and tight timeline;
  • Familiar with insurance industry’s practice and rules and regulations;
  • Extensive knowledge on collection, preservation and weighing of evidence for investigation;
  • Experience in handling local regulatory bodies and law enforcement enquiries;
  • Ability to run formal disciplinary interview with agent / staff independently;
  • Qualifications such as CFE, CPA and IIQE are recommended but not a must;
  • Good English and Chinese communications skills, both oral and written. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
