Job Description
Settlement Manager
Responsibilities:
l Responsible for the execution of daily settlement activities (Hong Kong and Overseas Stocks)
l Handle daily settlement transactions properly and efficiently including deal matching, daily trade transactions and CCASS operations
l Perform the funding arrangement with counterparties & clients
l Perform reconciliations between front office and back office system to ensure data capture accuracy and completeness
l Communicate with internal and external parties effectively
l Review policies, rules & procedures and systems, and streamline operational processes in order to maintain quality services and control operational risks
l Perform ad hoc assignments/duties as assigned.
l Involve in system enhancement and projects
l MIC under SFC definition.
Requirement:
l Post-secondary or above with minimum 3 years of experience in securities settlement
l Familiar with operation of CCASS and CCMS, including China Stock Connect
l Familiar with Settlement system
l Detailed-oriented and sensitive to number
l Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
l Able to work independently under pressure.
l Available immediately is a plus
