Responsibilities

• Draw and conceptualise 2D assets for game assets on Web / iPhone / Android platforms.
• Animate and dramatise designed characters, game effects and particle effects.
• Responsible for all phases of video production, including pre-production and post-production.
• Pre-production coordination; including sketching, drawing and storyboarding.
• Post-production coordination; including video editing, dubbing, animation and visual effects.
• Consolidation, media management and library organization.
• Encode and transfer files for approval and final delivery.
• Transcode, assemble and compose video assets for game production.
• Work closely with different teams to determine timeline and milestones of tasks for game production

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Multimedia Design, Video Production or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience in motion graphic animation and video editing.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
• Professional experience with console and mobile games.
• Creative with strong animation or motion graphic sense.
• Highly skilled in drawing, sketching and storyboarding.
• Possessing an excellent sense of color and an eye for detail.
• Positive attitude towards problem solving and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Knowledge in 3D modeling, animation and texturing is a great advantage.
• Proven knowledge of video shooting and lighting setup is an advantage.
• Proven interdisciplinary knowledge in fields such as game design, graphic design or sound design is a great advantage.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as a Motion Graphic Designer
