Assistant Manager (Ref. 19031404)

[Appointment period: twelve months]  

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) plan, manage and promote training courses/programmes in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland;

(b) liaise and coordinate with trainers to develop new courses/projects and ensure successful delivery of courses/projects;

(c) prepare project documentations including proposals, budgets and reports;  

(d) work with team members to be responsible for the development of specific focus areas; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Institute or his delegates.

Occasional travelling outside Hong Kong may be required.  

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree, preferably a master’s degree, in a related discipline;

(b) at least five years’ working experience, including not less than three years of experience obtained in higher education sector or business environment;

(c) an excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
                        
(d) knowledge of quality assurance procedures and practices;

(e) computer literacy in word-processing, database and spreadsheet software as well as good internet knowledge; and

(f) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.  

Applicants should also be a good team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and be able to work under tight schedule.
