Responsibilities:

• Involve in the development of new product process strategies, plans and improvement initiatives and other general management and administrative activities
• Provide leadership over highly complex and high priority design projects
• Provides direction, guidance and engineering expertise to the team
• Manage new product development process from initial design stage to mass production release and develop new concept design per the input from advanced engineering
• Facilitate project flow including regular communication with relevant parties
• Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance requirements
• Analyze, evaluate and select from design execution alternatives to best meet specification objectives and implement designs into mass production
• Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budget and scheduled timeline
• Regular travel to PRC is required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Industrial Design / Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
• At least 8 years relevant experience in product development in manufacturing industry
• Experience in the manufacturing of home appliances is highly preferable
• Strong leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
• Good presentation, communication, interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, responsible and independent
• Good command of written and spoken English.
