Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Implement consultancy and/or government funded projects for technology development of food processing, process enhancement and modernization
  • Conduct R&D for technologies related to food and catering industry
  • Undertake project prospection responsibilities and identify new business opportunities in Hong Kong and PRC
  • Prepare proposals seeking government fund and technical reports in project implementation
  • Maintain network with key industry players, e.g. government authorities, professional bodies, and associations, etc.
  • Occasional travel to the mainland to carry out projects
  • Handle other ad hoc projects or assignments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above from disciplines such as Food and Nutritional Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering with 5 years or more relevant working experience
  • Solid experience in project management on food manufacturing/ process improvement/ new product development
  • Experience in research and development on new product development an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, presentation , communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, result oriented, work with passion and ownership, be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
