Job Description

Smart Manufacturing & Mainland Business Division (Ref: SMD023/JDB/130319)

Job Duties:

  • Implement and deliver both R&D and Consultancy projects of in various plasma and RF related technology (including RF and multi-physics simulation, RF plasma in surface engineering and related applications, RF shielding design)
  • Develop new services related to plasma and RF related technology for in surface engineering and related applications, through continuous technology R&D and its related industry promotion
  • Undertake consultancy projects and R&D works related to equipment setup and experimental design for plasma processes, spectroscopy and electromagnetic waves of materials
  • Explore new technology and turn the ideas into consultancy proposals or Government funding proposals
  • Assist project team undertake different ad hoc Consultancy and R&D projects and assignments

Job Requirements:

  • Master Degree or above in Materials, Applied Physics, Electronic, Optoelectronic and Mechatronic Engineering/Applied Physics/Materials and related engineering subjects or equivalent
  • 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in applied R&D with hands-on skill in RF and plasma related technology
  • Experience in RF/multi-physics simulation and plasma system design an advantage
  • Mature, self-motivated, with good interpersonal, presentation and communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Applicants may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position
