Job Duties:

• Design and Conduct R&D works on novel porous composite material development for filtration applications
• Design and Conduct R&D works on physical properties of the above materials as well as its functional characterization
• Design and Conduct R&D works on the optimization of the processing parameters of Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) required for the above developed materials
• Implement of R&D works on different aspects of CVD
• Prepare technical proposals, reports and related documents
• Provide technical guidance to project team members
• Handle ad-hoc projects when required

Job Requirements:

• Ph. D. in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering or related discipline from either a local university or a well-recognized non-local institution
• Experience/Skill in thin film deposition/coating preferred
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Mature, self-motivated, confident and aggressive and able to work alone and under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Note:

This is a position funded by the Postdoctoral Hub Programme under the Technology Talent Scheme of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) R&D project from November 2018 to April 2020.
