The Asia Pacific Region is a growing market and is expected to continue this trend in the coming years. Given the changing retail environment, growing business and consumer expectation, company need to continue to focus on product safety and quality, implementing new initiatives to uplifting current program. In support of this initiatives, company has recently created a new and exciting role of Quality Assurance Specialist based in our Hong Kong support center, this role aims to support the daily quality assurance activities and data analysis to mitigate risk.

This role will be supporting markets including Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Japan and China.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct product safety and performance evaluation on food packaging and merchandise according to corporate guideline and product specification
• Maintain and analyse product complaint database, support the follow up action and troubleshooting as necessary
• Liaise with 3rd party service provider on product inspection and factory audit arrangement, work with supplier and cross functional team for issue identified
• Work with cross functional team to support AP business initiatives from QA perspective
• Implements and improves internal Quality Assurance system and standards
• Help & contribute in the development, implementation, management, monitoring and review of an integrated quality assurance program to ensure that quality and safety standards are met for food, beverage and merchandise items manufactured, distributed and sold

Requirements:

• At least 4 years experience in quality assurance related field in food packaging, merchandise or food categories, experience in 3rd party laboratory is a plus
• Experience in execution of food safety management program and food packaging quality assurance
• Sound knowledge in material food grade and product performance testing
• Strong communication and analytical skill
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Fluent in English; Good command of Chinese
