Responsibilities

• Takes a leading role in working with projects, installation and operation support service to fulfill Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Support services when new services are delivered or reviewed;
• Has a detailed understanding of the service constructed and critical metrics (SLAs, KPIs, etc.) to be able to evaluate and review service performance and technical information;
• Align, plan and organise project activities to meet project objectives;
• Ensure allocation of resources and skills to projects in priority order;
• Identify, resolve and escalate risks which could impact the achievement of objectives;
• Define performance indicators, review or enhance SOP, and to communicate to project team;
• Track service performance and quality deliverables to ensure they continue to deliver towards expected outcomes, within allocated budget;
• Automate processes and improve productivity;
• Conduct evaluation on each project against the project objectives;
• Report regularly on project's progress and recommend service improvement, if necessary;
• Provide manage support service in mid-to-large organization on the IT infrastructure e.g. networks, systems, and storage; and
• Engage in tender for service delivery solution, design, plan, costing, manage on-site delivery team.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in IT or related discipline;
• Minimum of 10 years’ service experience with storage products or equivalent skill set;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with leading and managing a support services team;
• You should have prior experience in handling mid-to-large scale IT implementations, with complex interdependencies across infrastructure/software domains, and with the ability to lead a highly skilled technical development team;
• Solution driven, able to react quickly and resolve issues so that the workflow can continue;
• SCSI, SAS, fibre channel technology, SAN and network connectivity experience;
• Professional attitude and team player;
• Basic Unix and/or MS Windows OS skills;
• Backup and archiving application implementation knowledge/skills preferred;
• Good influencing and persuading skills;
• Good relationship builder with strong diplomacy skills;
• Good people management skills to motivate and lead the team to achieve/ surpass the SLA;
• Has a passion for service delivery improvement; and
• Willing to support and mentor junior staff.
