MISSION / JOB PURPOSE                                                                                                            

The Voice Technical Consultant will be under the Enterprise Infrastructure & Network Services team and he/she will be responsible for strategic planning, project management, systems development, change/incident/problem management, risk remediation and user support across regions.

The Enterprise Network Technical Lead will expect to have solid technical experiences in Voice/VoIP and network technology, including Unified Communication, Contact Centre, Voice Collaboration solution, Network and Firewall. 

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                                               

• Design and deliver innovative solutions for the Voice/VoIP and network technology, including Unified Communication, Contact Centre, Voice Collaboration solution, Network and Firewall. 
• Act as Voice & UC Subject Matter Expert to provide strategic direction and road maps of technologies  
• Undertake configuration, maintenance support and troubleshooting of voice and collaboration solutions
• Able to resolve complicated technical issues with effective engagement with vendors
• Work with incident managers, project managers and senior stakeholders to deliver services and projects
• Effectively manage end-to-end technical project delivery via project management life cycle
• Participate in regional / global projects in Network and Security area and work closely with vendors for project delivery

Requirements                                                                                                                                

• Degree holder in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.

• Experiences in Voice architecture, design, implementation and maintenance

• SME expertise and hands on experiences in Unified Communication and Contact Center technologies but not limited:
• Avaya Communication Manager, Media Gateway, Session Manager, System Manager, IP end points and Equinox
• Polycom video conferencing
• IP Trade
• Skype for Business, TEAMS
• NICE and Avaya ACR recording
• Cisco ACI and SDN solution
• Hands on managing voice protocols and technologies e.g. SIP, H.323, ISDN, T1/E1, IP Trunks.

• Hands on experience of managing Network, Firewall and security products including but not limited:
• Cisco Routing & Switching products and Nexus Data Centre Networking products
• Network protocols and technologies e.g. OSPF, BGP, STP, 802.1q, PIM, HSRP/VRRP
• F5 server load balancing and security technology (GTM/LTM/ASM/AFM)
• Wireless
• Knowledge of DNS & DHCP (IPAM).
• managing Palo Alto firewall, Blue Coat Proxy, VPN, IPS

• Understanding of cloud-based UC and CC solution and proven related project experience with major cloud vendors
• Strong command of spoken and written English & Chinese
