• This is a newly created role for building Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to enable communication and data management for distributed applications.      

Major Responsibilities:

• Analyze user and business requirements and provide recommendations
• Manage project implementation
• Conduct system design, development, implementation and maintenance of middleware application on cloud platform.
• Involve a lot of coding activities
• Documentation of project status reports and specifications
• Work closely with in-house developers, external vendors and infrastructure team to carry out system development
• Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, communicate to project teams and identifies knowledge gaps and closes them
• Operational support and housekeeping on existing in-house applications
• Ensure that IT standards and practices are followed by the team

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / IT related disciplines
• 8 years of experience in Java application development; 3+ year of experience in Middleware application
• Advanced knowledge of SOA/ESB, software design, development integration and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Strong skills in core Java, server-side Java technologies, Spring MVC framework, Maven and Apache Tomcat.
• Extensive experience in messaging middleware including EMS/JMS, Spring Security, event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration pattern, Web Service and REST
• Experience working with major public cloud providers including Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Excellent interpersonal skill and proficiency in problem approaching and troubleshooting
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
