 Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of actuarial liabilities including data management, identifying anomalies and addressing possible issues
• Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the reserving models and templates
• Participate in discussions relating to reserve analysis and the effect on financial results
• Assist and support Solvency II group reporting and other group deliverables
• Provide necessary data and analysis for business planning
• Keep up to date with current and future financial reporting and standards
• Increase business knowledge through frequent liaison with colleagues in various business units
• Support other initiatives and projects as required

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mathematics/Actuarial Science or Statistics
• A minimum of 4 years working experience in non-life actuarial, preferably in reserving (candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst)
• Demonstrated progress through exams from a recognized actuarial institute
• Familiar with Hong Kong statutory valuation basis and experience with Solvency II basis is an asset
• Proficient in Excel and experience with ResQ is an asset
• Attention to details and strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced and frequently changing business environment
• Ability to build strong relationships within and outside of the actuarial team
