Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record running and operating a professional production studio. The top candidates will be social media aware and savvy with strong technical and creative production skills and the ability to work with studio clients to develop and deliver top quality finished content.

 

This position will be working full time to provide studio technical support and creative consulting to clients producing content for tier 1 social media clients. We are looking for someone who is an equal blend of high quality production technical skills and strong people and leadership skills.

 

The studio supervisor will oversee operations of the studio day to day, work with clients to match studio services and consulting to their projects and provide leadership for the studio team.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong technical focus for running and supporting events including;

 

  • Experience developing and producing video and streaming content for online and social media delivery.
  • Talent coordination, management and consulting
  • Working with studio clients to match their requirements to technical and production services.
  • Vision mixing– proficiency
  • Remote camera control
  • Virtual studio experience
  • Green screen
  • Strong audio experience and knowledge
  • Lighting– proficient with studio, field and production lighting
  • Graphics Operator – proficient with MS Powerpoint, keynote and other graphics, video playout software.
  • PTZ Camera operator – Remote camera experience
  • ENG and videography experience
  • Video conferencing experience is beneficial.

 

Daily job scope includes;

  • Communicate the status of every project with appropriate stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Manage client interaction and expectations regarding video production support efforts
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, systems and objectives
  • Resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
  • Own video production service for office, establish/develop SLA, and bind SLA with client
  • Manage a team of video production professionals in a fast past environment
  • Focus on quality control of all products produced by team
  • Maintains relationships with cross-functional teams and Facebook business partners
  • Single point of contact for Facebook management when dealing with personnel issues
  • Provides detailed reporting and metrics around service performance and execution
  • Track service trends to demonstrate effectiveness
  • Track headcount requirements and provide FB stakeholders event load forecast
  • Consult on design, build, and lighting of studio sets per client requests
  • Interact effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions
  • Lead the development of crew and equipment
  • Assist with transport and setup of video, lighting, and audio equipment as required

 

Position involves daily client interaction, consultation and customer service for clients using our services. Strong, effective communication and organizational skills are a must. 

  

  • Manage live capture and broadcast content for broadcast, web and capture productions. 
  • Consult users to match services to client requirements for production projects 
  • Run day to day technical systems for video, audio, lighting and studio. 
  • Assists users on using video conferencing systems before and during events 
  • Monitors assigned videoconferencing calls on end user’s event sites 
  • Assists staff with pulling, staging and striking audio/visual equipment for events 
  • Troubleshoots incidents and escalates accordingly 
  • Manages physical inventory in dedicated venue locations 
  • Educate customers on supported services on a technical and non-technical level 
  • Confirm all Blue Jeans Network (BJN)/VC ID’s for events 
  • Supports Executive level events by providing meeting kick-offs and in room technical
    support 

  

Skills

  • Proficiency in PC applications including MS Office, PowerPoint. Strong Excel 
  • Vendor management and coordination 
  • Events budgeting and cost management 
  • Strong familiarity with audio visual technologies for events. 
  • High level of self-motivation 
  • Organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent leadership and team mentoring skills

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership skill and experience managing teams 
  • Strong social media experience. 
  • Degree holder in Hospitality services or other events related qualifications. 
  • Min 3-5 years' solid experience in corporate events related work areas. 
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure 
  • Responsible, aggressive, presentable and good problem-solving skills. 
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced working environment with good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Creative, self-motivated, responsible and willing to work overtime 
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented and able to work under tight schedule and deadlines 
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English 
  • Must have business level Chinese ability
