Key roles and duties

• Conduct inspection from raw material, processing and end products
• Conduct sampling, physical / chemical testing on starting materials, intermediates and finished products
• Conduct environmental monitoring in production area
• Arrange the pest control service
• Calibrate the analytical equipment in the QC Laboratory
• Review and maintain the update of product specification record system
• Accomplish other tasks assigned by supervisor
• Support in developing and implementing Food Safety Management System
• Provide training to on-site staff so as to increase their awareness of food safety and quality standard
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in food science or related disciplines
• At least 1-2 years experiences for the QC/QA management in food industry. With fruits & veggie experience is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in HACCP, ISO22000 or other quality management system is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Windows Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiar with data report, analyzing, etc.
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
• Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Detailed minded, able to work independently
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as QC Technician
