Responsibilities:

• Handle seasonal research and develop of knits fabric to ensure developed with visual and technical integrity
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery of a quality product / sample in timely manner
• Responsible for fabric library management and data integrity at PLMA
• Participate in presentations during Mill/Trim week with complete information
• Monitor fabrics testing / performance, establish standard and execution of fabric proto yardage
• Review and evaluate key fabric mills, proposed changes whenever necessary
• Establish professional and positive relationship and ensure quality, delivery, price and service by continuous improvement
• Responsible for mill capacity and allocation and lead time for optimization
• Negotiate with supplier for cost, agreement, quality and other production issues
• Responsible for strategic cost analysis on Country of Origin, Fabric and Commodities
• Ad hoc and general duties require from time to time to ensure work effectiveness, supporting team achievements and performance

Requirements:

• University degree in textile and clothing with minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organization skill
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, and basic in Mandarin
• Basic computer skills and familiar in system management is preferable
