Responsibilities

• Responsible for business strategy planning, development and implementation for MUJI BOOKS and non-books businesses in HK
• Responsible for wide range of merchandise with business strategies including sourcing new products in compliance with company standard, preparing yearly merchandising promotion and thematic plan
• Liaise with vendors on terms and conditions, pricing and purchasing order issues
• Monitor sales performance, inventory,deliveryschedule and quality checking
• Construct and implement the policies and procedures on both backend office and sales floor for books and non-book business
• Assist in all round marketing & promotion activities and visual merchandising
• Assist in business development projects including store opening, store closing and store renovation projects

 Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years relevant work experience and at least 3 years managerial experience
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese; Japanese skills is a plus.
• Able to work independently with high senses of responsibility and business sense
• Good analytical skills, good integrity and financial management
• Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Assistant Category Manager – MUJI Books
