Job Brief

We are looking for a very proactive, enthusiastic Product & Sales Coordinator to help ensure smooth flow of business and products and to bring a high-level of organization and responsive support to our production and sales teams. We are a small but rapidly growing company based in Sheung Wan with roughly 20 people in the office. This will entail a wide range of activities including development and maintenance of the product database and general support during the sales and production process. You should be pleasant to work with, good at working with teams, very organized, thorough, and extremely detail-oriented. A very good command of both English and Mandarin is necessary.

The work environment will be in our Hong Kong office working closely with our in-house teams and communicating with staff and partners in China.  Occasional travel to China. The product category is very unusual and exciting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with sales orders and on-going production
• Constant upkeep of inventory data, creating and/or proofreading purchase and sales orders, inputting product specifications (data collection)
• Ongoing development and maintenance of inventory and product database
• Interface with accounting and logistics teams
• Develop a thorough understanding of the products we're shipping
• Manage the sending of samples to clients

Requirements

• Excellent command of English (either Native speaker or fluent)
• Good command of Mandarin (Cantonese nice to have but not essential)
• Detail oriented - very important (managing detailed databases and excel documents)
• Very good organizational and communication skills
• Efficient, self-initiated, proactive, problem solver
• Excellent with Excel and online forms or other data-related software
• Some previous experience with inventory management
• Previous work experience in FMCG, ideally in cosmetics, beverages or packaging product categories
