We are looking for Game 2D Artists to play a key role in a brand new game development project, which will be a high-technology and EXCLUSIVE one in Hong Kong.

Being the pioneer of similar large-scale projects in Hong Kong, lots of research and developments are needed. Interested parties who are creative, energetic and responsible, just do not hesitate to apply.

Requirements:

• Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop
• Possess excellent 2D graphic design skills
• Good skills in illustration and environmental design
• Able to carry an idea from conceptual phase to finished illustration; and have an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time game environments
• Proven organizational and analytical skills, willing to take responsibility for own decisions and actions
• Strong people skills, be an effective listener, good communicator and great team-player
• Creative thinking and self-motivation

Actual Job Duties:

• Create 2D conceptual mockups
• Create and apply high-quality texture maps
• A good understanding of characters’ and monsters’ anatomy, and a sense of form, shape, structure, and silhouette regarding illustration and environmental design
• Knowledge in designing UI and effects will definitely be an advantage

An advantage would be:

• Working knowledge in designing and producing graphical user interfaces (including icons, buttons, toggles, sliders, etc.) for menus
• Skills for particle systems, post processing effects and shaders
• Other graphic design skills like storyboard drawing and 3D artwork
