Job Description

Our client is a long lasting well-known jewellery and home luxury brand from Paris. As they are currently expanding their business in Asia Pacific. They are now looking for the high calibre to join their team. 

Job Objective:

 

- Reach sales and profitability targets of the retail network across the Greater China & South East Asia Region.
- Hire, manage, coach and motivate multicultural frontline retail staff.
- Recruit new customers, strengthen loyalty of existing ones by providing them with a personal and unique luxury in-store experience through retail service excellence.
- Ensure that brand image and product merchandizing are always up to Company standards.
- Optimize in-store inventories through tight management and control.

 Job Descriptions

Sales & Retail

- Manages and drives sales in order to achieve set objectives.
- Follows up sales performance of each points of sale on a daily basis.
- Defines action plans to boost sales growth: partnerships with Third Parties, incentive schemes etc.
- Identifies performance gaps and find corrective actions / areas of improvement in case of deviations.
- Follows up and analyzes relevant KPIs and sales data.
- Manages client orders (“portfolio”) and maximizes invoicing each month.
- Maintains and develops good relationships with landlords and department store operators.  Leverages on their resources (customer database, advertising opportunities) to maximize brand visibility, potential sales and seek new retail opportunities (new locations etc.)

 Retail Operations & Visual Merchandizing

- Ensures that Company retail, marketing & merchandizing policies and guidelines are respected.
- Provides adequate market (competitors), product and pricing feedback to Head Office.
- Ensures and controls that Company image, visual merchandizing and product merchandizing at each point of sales is up to Company standards.
- Actively supports the process of new store openings.
- Prepares Open-To-Buy of in-store product re-assortments with input from Merchandizing Team.

 Planning & Budgeting

- Defines and executes annual in-store event / activation calendar in order to generate sales, traffic and customer drive-to store (product launches, pop-up activities, partnerships with third parties etc.)
- Defines sales forecasts and sales budgets per store.
- Pilots each store P&L and controls retail costs according to budget.

 Human Resources & Talent Management

- Motivates, supports and coaches the frontline sales staff.
- Trains retail staff.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in each store.
- Prepares and manages the monthly sales roster.
- Takes part in the recruiting process of retail staff.

Requirements:

- Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to manage multicultural Asian teams.
- Experienced in the luxury sector (luxury design, watch & jewelry, lifestyle, high-end automobiles or furniture)
- Proven track record in driving sales and achieving targets in a retail environment.
- Has good knowledge of market trends and developments; good business acumen.
- Good salesmanship.
- Hands-on and can-do attitude; humble.
- Strong background in store operations, visual merchandizing and merchandizing (has experience in OTB).
- Good organizational skills.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset; intellectually agile and flexible.
- Results and goals oriented.
