We are looking for talented researchers who will be involved in performing experiments to optimize sets of DNA methylation markers for diagnosing disease. The job will require involvement in experimental design, optimization of procedures, performing experiments, reporting experiments and following lab standard operating procedures under the supervision of the lab manager. The successful candidate will be a graduate who has completed a Bachelor/ Master/ Doctorate degree, will have good knowledge of molecular biology techniques, will desire to learn new methods, loves perfection and is excited about developing molecular-based new products.

Responsibilities

          For Junior Researcher:

• Perform experiments using molecular biology tools and next generation sequencing
  techniques under the regulation of lab standard operating procedures;
• Record experiment results and methodologies following lab standard operating procedures;
• Maintaining lab equipment, lab area and supplies in a neat and professional manner;
• Reporting to the supervisor
  

          For Research Scientist:

• Perform experiments using molecular biology tools and next generation sequencing
  techniques under the regulation of lab standard operating procedures
• Optimize experiment workflow;
• Conduct rational experiment design;
• Data analysis;
• Supervise junior researchers to perform experiments;
• Document experiment results and methodologies properly following standard operating
  procedures;
• Maintain lab equipment, lab area and supplies in a neat and professional manner;
• Report experiments to the lab manager.

Qualifications

• Junior Researcher: Bachelor/ Master degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related fields
  
• Research Scientist: Doctorate degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related fields
• Experience in DNA and RNA preparations, conducting PCR and primer optimization
• Knowledge of sequencing techniques
• Knowledge in programming, statistics or bioinformatics will be highly desirable
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team under the guidance of lab director
