THE ROLE

The role of the Operations Specialist will be to liaise with internal and external parties in order to manage and coordinate the inflow of product, inventory levels and accuracy, and other general operational needs. This person will work with multiple departments including Sales, Ecommerce, Product, Marketing and Finance to assist in Domestic and International objectives, procedures and reporting.

The Operations Specialist will:

• Support ad hoc projects
• Perform Inventory Reconciliation
• Track all shipments from the factory floor to end destination
• Maintain accurate inventory movements and operation records
• Review suppliers KPI on booking, operations and custom issue
• Ensure Herschel's logistic procedures and standards are being met
• System upload, update , analysis and maintain the accuracy of data
• Oversee daily DC operations and inventories activities in 3PLs' warehouse
• Maintain documents and update shipping standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare operation and monthly KPIs and performance reports for management review
• Work closely with headquarter and 3PL warehouse teams in Hong Kong, China & Vietnam
• Create and maintain an accurate logistics master file for distributor/forwarders/documentations requirements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong numeric sense
• Ability to work independently
• Good command of spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficient on MS office applications, WMS and ERP
• Degree holder in Logistics/Supply Chain Management preferred
• Experience in handling China import/export documentation is a plus
• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse operations and inventory management gained from retail/FMCG industry is preferred
