Reporting to AXA Services Asia Financial Controller, the job holder will support Financial Controller to run AXA Services Asia Finance accounting functions including but not limited to manage AP, AR, GL and all other accounting tasks, assist on monthly closing tasks, and payment processes and approvals.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following:

• Support Financial Controller, with the support of the back office in India, to run AXA Services Asia Finance accounting functions including but not limited to manage the AP, AR and GL accounting activity in a timely manner.
• Maintain related tools and processes in full compliance with Corporate standards as well as local accounting principles, tax and management reporting requirements. Apply the set of workflows, procedures and systems of operation of the Finance Team. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with local Government requirements.
• Assist Financial Controller in preparing monthly closing tasks and publishing timely financial statements.
• Support the Finance Controller to achieve the key Financial KPIs: BAU Revenue and P&L, Company Productivity target.
• Manage vendor creation and maintain vendor database. Ensure all supplier invoices follow the AP process implemented by the company, spending & purchasing in all departments with proper approval and correct expense codes, and all supplier invoices are appropriately authorized for payment and process payments when authorized.
• Process and record employee expenses claims, vendor and customer payments on timely basis.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting tasks performed by the back-office in India or by the Shared Service Centre in Manila. Ensure Asia web banking payment and PeopleSoft pay-cycle process are followed properly according Group accounting policy and procedures.
• Ensure AXA Services Asia compliance with group standards, external audit and internal audit remediation (including up-coming Swiftnet implementation and monitor payment change management). Resolve AP issues and escalate cash flow issues to management’s attention.

The successful candidate should possess:

• University Diploma with minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in Accounting related discipline
• Experience working in a shared service environment and IT organization background is beneficial
• Experience in PeopleSoft or relevant ERP is preferable
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
