Pay: HK$11,000 – HK$24,000 per month

Educational Technology & Publishing Unit

Duties
The appointees, by using software and languages such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, JavaScript, Action script and HTML5, will be required to draw cartoon illustrations; to carry out photo retouching and photography; to design animations, web-based interactive learning materials, interface and layout of various systems, and 3D virtual learning environment; and to perform programming work for interactive learning materials.

Requirements
Applicants should possess a diploma/higher certificate/higher diploma/associate degree in a relevant discipline plus experience in the design and production of multimedia instructional materials. Having experience in using software and languages such as CS6, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, JavaScript, Action script and HTML5 in carrying out the following will be a definite advantage
(i) drawing illustrations or cartoon characters for primary or secondary textbooks; and/or
(ii) performing programming for interactive learning materials.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a trade test.

Terms of Appointment
Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract, subject to renewal by mutual consent.  The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits may include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, if applicable.
