Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all accounting and financial activities, tax and other local compliance with statutory requirements in PRC and report to Hong Kong Head office
• Prepare budgets, management reports and other ad hoc reports
• Review monthly and annual financial reporting package
• Provide support in relation to tax compliance, tax audit and tax planning implementation to strengthen internal control and tax effectiveness
• Co-ordinate with external auditors to complete the annual audit
• Monitor changes and provide suggestions for compliance with PRC accounting standards and tax requirements
• lead ad hoc projects if necessary

Requirements:

• Energetic person of integrity
• 8 years solid experience in accounting and financial field with professional qualifications
• Solid PRC experience is a MUST
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Good working knowledge of PRC operation
• Good business sense and immediate available is preferable
• 1-day (per week) stay in Hong Kong office and 4-days (per week) stay in Guangzhou is required
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for assistant post
