You will be handling existing financial reporting process analysis, intercompany reconciliation and reporting, review and provide subordinate journal entries and analysis. At the same time, you will also be responsible for quarterly HKIA levy calculations, ad-hoc analysis etc.

You will be reporting to the Senior Manager but unlike most big organizations with complex and hierarchical structure, our set up is very lean and flat which allows you to have a wide exposure and autonomy to make yourself very visible in the region. 

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly financial reporting process
• Inter-company reconciliation and reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries and analysis
• Prepare management reports for treasury and liquidity control
• Perform review on bank signatories and online banking system access in collaboration with Regional Unit
• Provide support on analysis and ad-hoc assignments for TLB Finance team 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting or Finance
• Project experience on transition and/or process reengineering
• At least 6 years of work experience, including 2+ years of experience in sizable accounting firms or insurance industry
• Good understanding of current accounting requirement in the insurance industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and maintain good collaboration with others across all levels/areas within the business
• Excellent English communication skills as you will be working closely with the US and Singapore teams on a regular basis 

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and relevant professional qualification are highly preferred
