Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and discuss with client on design concepts.
• Prepare and submit all related drawings according to the project specification and working programme as required by the Project team.
• Ensure the design shop drawings are aligned with the structural calculation.
• Revise and resubmit all shop drawings as per the Architect commented shop drawings.
• Do and check the material "take-off" of all materials required for the project as per specification.
• Monitor manufacturers on production drawings and develop machining details as per the approved shop drawings.
• Issue all construction drawings to Project team.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the CEO, Technical Director and Senior Design Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Certificate in Architectural Studies, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• 3 years work experience in civil, infrastructure, building and architectural drawings
• At least 2 years experience in curtain wall, glass wall and façade design
• Practical experience in curtain wall purchasing, fabrication and assembly process
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken is a must
• Competent knowledge in MS Project and AutoCAD and 3D applications
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently, responsibly, and with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Designer
