Advanced Design Architects – Shanghai and Hong Kong Offices

As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small to large scale projects, research and theory. The atmosphere within our offices in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and Hong Kong is international, multidisciplinary and ambitious, but also open, non-hierarchical, team-based and friendly, with attention to personal well-being, knowledge development and career planning.

We are currently looking for Advanced Design Architects to join our Shanghai and Hong Kong offices.

Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Design Architect on high-profile projects at top-tier international design firms

• Documented experience in all phases of the design, including design development and construction documentation.

• Strong aesthetic sensibilities and design skills with the ability to develop and implement a design concept from preliminary studies through to construction and detailing

• Extensive experience in multi-platform workflows, geometric optimization and fabrication processes for complex geometry and curvatures

• Proactive and self-motivated, with an innate commitment to furthering design

• Technical problem solver with the ability to work out architectural solutions through innovative thinking (documented through construction and shop drawings/details)

• Good team player with the ability to organize both own work and others, clearly communicate with Project Leaders, and coach/motivate team members

• Fluent English communication skills with additional fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus

• Knowledge of products, materials and construction methods in Asia

• Advanced 3d Modeler with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Rhinoceros (including Grasshopper and scripting – preferably Python), 3dMax, and 3d visualization plug-ins

• Professional BIM experience on geometrically complex projects (Digital Project or Revit) a plus

• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

任职资历：

• 具备5 – 7 年在国际顶级设计事务所从事高端项目的建筑设计经验

• 具备从事由设计开发到施工图纸全面阶段的相关经验

• 杰出的美学感知力和设计能力，能够实施从概念设计阶段如初步研究贯穿到施工及细部的整个阶段

• 具备复杂的几何形状及曲面的几何优化及其制造工艺的丰富经验和知识

• 积极主动，求知欲强，愿意不断学习和成长

• 具有通过创新思路来解决相关建筑技术问题的能力（可递交的管控施工和工作图纸/细部图纸）

• 具备团队协作能力和精神，同时可独立安排和完成本职工作，并与项目负责人保持有效及时的沟通，能够引导和激励团队成员

• 流利的英文沟通能力（阅读及书写）；流利的普通话或粤语沟通技能（阅读和写作）者优先

• 具备亚洲地区有关产品、材料和施工方法的丰富知识

• 出色的3D模型制作技能，并有至少4年以上Rhinoceros（包括Grasshopper和scripting –Python更佳）, 3dMax和 3d visualization plug-ins的使用经验

• 具备在大型复杂的几何项目上使用BIM （Digital Project or Revit）的专业经验

• 精通AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite 等专业制图软件
