Job Responsibilities:

• Provide services in developing and reviewing internal compliance frameworks and policies; and monitoring policies’ implementation with regards to updated regulatory requirements;
• Handle inquiries and act as main point of contact with regulators;
• Track regulatory guidelines/circulars and coordinate with internal stakeholders on implementation plans;
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies (e.g.: SFC), legal counsels and/or consultants where required;
• Assist in conducting projects’ due diligence (KYC and AML and CTF checking); 
• Travel abroad from time to time to perform duties may be required; and
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

Personal

• A strong sense of responsibility, diligent, proactive, detailed-oriented, hardworking and a strong team player with good inter-personal and communication skills; 
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and meet deadlines will be viewed favourably;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is required. Proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage;
• Professional legal qualification is not a must but would be a plus; and
• Immediate available is a definite advantage.

Professional and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Corporate Governance, Finance or Accounting or other related disciplines from a recognized university; 
• Solid experience in FinTech, finance, data privacy, legal, compliance and/or the relevant fields would be a plus;
• Experience in local regulators, legal firm, legal or compliance department of financial institutions and/or securities firms and/or insurance companies and/or brokerage firms is preferable;
• Experience in dealing with regulators (e.g. SFC) would be a plus;
• At least 2 years of working experiences; and
• Candidates with less experience are welcome for junior post.
