Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and review industrial engineering tools, methodologies and standards for continuous improvement of Supply Chain function
  • Manage the new/upgrading of existing distribution centers including supply chain network design studies, business case preparation, costing and project management of distribution center construction
  • Redesign warehouse layout, sizing, materials storage and handling systems to optimize intra-warehouse processes and material flows
  • Evaluate and investigate all variances regarding supply chain key performance indicators to recommend performance standards
  • Develop and implement standardized 5S, OHE and good distribution practices and concepts for supply chain re-engineering and optimization
  • Manage continuous improvement projects across all areas in supply chain to increase efficiency/productivity and reduce unit cost in all stages of distribution
  • Provide technical thought leadership on logistics and warehousing analysis and improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams i.e. distribution center, logistics, inventory management on Supply Chain improvement initiatives

 

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • 5+ years in an Industrial Engineering, Warehouse Operations capacity or equivalent
  • In-Depth knowledge of supply chain operations and industrial engineering standards, methods and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – comfortable working with large data sets
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup or DC Design Modeling tool equivalent
  • Strong Understanding of Project Management Processes and Structures
  • Working knowledge of SAP eWM processes are an asset
  •  Fluent Spoken and Written English, Fluent Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within APAC
