Merchandiser (Gardening/ Hand Tools/ Barbeque Items)

Our client, a strong growing buying office, is looking for an outstanding candidate to join their team as a Merchandiser.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the full cycle of merchandising of products, such as but not limited to: gardening/ hand tools and car audio products, etc
• Ensure production requirements, sample checking and shipment orders are communicated clearly
• Negotiate on pricing issues with external parties such as suppliers, vendors and forwarders for a smooth merchandise logistic
• Liaise with internal stakeholders such as design team for the process of product development
• Track ordering activities to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and delivery requirements
• Arrange sample delivery for quality inspection before the initiation of mass production
• Maintain a sound relationship with existing and potential key accounts for a smooth workflow
• Keep account entries
• Issue related documents, e.g. RFQ, P/O and invoices, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher diploma in any related disciplines
• A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the field of merchandising, purchasing, buying and procurement is required
• Knowledge within companies such as manufacturing, trading and buying offices are preferred  
• Experience in product categories such as speakers, car audio, gardening tools, etc.
• Exposure to international markets is preferred
• Occasional travelling is required
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• A dedicated, hardworking and energetic candidate who can work under pressure and eagerness to learn
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
