Job Description
Our Client is a famous multinational company who focus on Textile Printing Solutions. In order to expand and enhance the market in Hong Kong, they are looking for potential candidate for the position of Technical Specialist / Engineer 28K -40K
Technical Specialist / Engineer 28K -40K (Textile Printing)
Responsibilities
- Be the interface together with CSM between the KDIL and KDAP
- Provide appropriate training/ technical info to engineers and partners according to KDIL standard & request from CSM
- Follow up and perform Beta testing in cooperation with KDIL
- Report technical information / escalate issues to KDIL Product Management
- Support FSE with technical problems by phone / remote control
- Follow up technical escalations
- Support Service Administrator where needed with technical advice (e.g. Site-prep questions and/or technical questions from customers related to the installation)
- Support CSM / Service Administrator with technical help to make sure the right planning decisions are made, and the right parts are ordered
Requirements
- Degree/ higher Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Must be a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter, who can deliver independently as well as in a team environment
- 5+ years of recent successful experience in a service position with a manufacturer or distributor of machinery, equipment and consumables for the printing market (Signage, Textile, etc)dx
- Experience of project management and leadership is preferable
- Good communication skills. Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Good computer skills. Hands-on capabilities with MS Office programs including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working very independently in a fast moving, entrepreneurial organization with minimal support staff
- Background working in a multi-national company or environment
- Willingness to travel in Asia Pacific and internationally as needed
