Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate value reporting (new business value and embedded value) in a timely manner in fulfilling Group / Regional Guidelines.
  • Perform investigation on the financial condition in respect of the Company’s long term business, dynamic solvency testing (DST) per AGN7.
  • Provide regular fulfillment cash flows and duration reporting as per the requirement from Regional in respect of ALM initiatives.
  • Conduct experience studies regularly and ensure the actuarial assumptions are supported by emerged experiences.
  • Assist in special projects assigned, e.g. RBC QIS and IFRS 17

Key Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent.
  • ASA or near ASA
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in actuarial valuation in life insurance industry
  • Experienced Prophet user (asset-liability modelling would be an advantage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
