Our US Corporate Tax team has a diverse client base and our purpose is to help businesses manage cross border investments into and from the Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities

- Provide US tax advisory and compliance services to clients in a range of industries
- Manage, direct, monitor, and deliver multiple client engagements
- Research, write, and review tax advice related to US domestic and international tax matters
- Formulate and deliver possible tax planning and tax savings services
- Assist with business development for the expansion of services at new and existing clients
- Work closely with team members in the US, PRC, and HK
- Aid in the development and training of team members
- Some amount of travel may be required

Experience and Qualifications

- US Certified Public Accountant or licensed Attorney at Law
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; MS in Taxation or J.D. with taxation LLM preferred
- Minimum of 9 years of US tax experience in a professional services practice
- Background should include work in corporate and partnership tax compliance and tax advisory services
- Understanding of US tax accounting issues
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong planning, research, and communication skills
- Mandarin language capability preferred but not required
