Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, as a FP&A Analyst you will provide quality, accurate and timely financial support to the Hong-Kong and Taiwan business. You will support specific business units through their forecast and budget cycles as well as producing monthly management information and analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of Financial Planning and Management Reporting tools:

  • Handle Budget and Tendency process through TM1 and submission to global tools
  • Prepare non-BU department heads for cost center budgeting and controlling
  • Prepare budget review presentation timely and accurately
  • Responsible for monthly reporting and variance analysis
  • Look for opportunities to streamline and improve processes
  • Prepare reports for management review
  • Responsible for commercial condition analysis
  • Liaise and work closely with controllers and other stakeholders as and when needed
  • Continuously review processes and reports to reach simplification
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Additional tasks:

  • Provide first line FP&A support to specific Hong Kong & Taiwan business units
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business (both business processes & operational issues) to assist with the interpretation of data and help the business meet its goals
  • Identify efficiencies & challenge business processes that will allow FP&A and financial controlling to add more value to the business

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Background: At least 5 years confirmed experience in Finance/controlling functions. Experience in an international environment
  • Ability to collaborate across an organization and to operate successfully in a matrix environment
  • Quick learner and excellent systems skills (HFM, SAP, TM1, CASA, Product Forward, FIRST…)
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Rigorous and detailed oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to defend his/her position with stakeholders, ability to propose solutions and improvements.
  • English fluent – working language
  • Experience in pharma industry, desirable
