Job Posting Details

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team within the Division of Life Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

The appointee will be required to provide administrative and operational support to the MSc Self-financing program; provide general and clerical support to the activities organized by the Division; perform general office duties including filing, ordering of office supplies; and perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Applicants should have 5 passes including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A or level 2 if results were obtained from 2007 onwards) and Chinese in the HKCEE; or 5 subjects, including English Language and Chinese Language, attaining level 2 or above (or equivalent) in the HKDSE. Applicants with 2 to 3 years’ relevant working experience and being a holder of diploma is preferable.  The ideal candidate should have a proactive work attitude, strong ability to multi-task and be attentive to details.  He/She should be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills. Possessing a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently is essential.  A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
