Responsibilities

The legal officer will be an integral member of a small legal team.You will be responsible for and exposed to a wide variety of legal and business matters including but not limited to:-

• Providing proactive support to the Administration Executive team on various business operation of the Hospital
• Conducting court search, legal research, assisting in keeping good filing records, meeting deadlines on various business activities and projects
• Analyzing legal and compliance issues and liaising with other internal departments and other parties outside the Hospital to take accurate and thorough instructions
• Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, witness statements and other documents and act in accordance with the instructions from the Administration Executive team

Requirements

• Law degree holder or qualified solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE
• Prior experience in a reputable law firm or in-house environment is highly preferred
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Conscientious, self-motivated with strong organization skills
• Attentive to details and able to meet deadlines
• Experience in filing and handling recovery claims, including attending Small Claims Tribunal is an advantage
