Job Description

1. Relationship Manager, Banking & Finance

Duties: 

  • Develop and execute an individual business plan to achieve client acquisition, business referral and establish a book of new business
  • Bring in new clients, responsible for High-Net-Worth individual accounts 
  • Deepen client relationships and improve income generation through focused business development activities
  • Provide professional wealth management solutions to customers and understand customers’ financial needs
  • Ensure the selling processes are in compliance with the Bank’s and regulator’s policies and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above, possess recognized licenses (IIQE & HKSI)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in handling investment portfolio of affluent customers 
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure 
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
  • Well-planned, strong analytical skills and solid track record in developing relationships with customers 
  • Familiar with banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage

 

2) Relationship Manager, Insurance 

Duties: 

  • Source new customers for the Bank, understand the needs of the customer and provide appropriate financial solutions
  • Achieve target revenue for the bank, Build up and maintain client relationships by fulfilling their needs with the bank’s financial and investment product solutions
  • Comply with relevant laws and regulations and fulfill with regulatory requirements
  • Operate the relevant systems to record the client transactions and correspondence accurately
  • Report daily sales activities, figures and forecasting to Head of Relationship Management for keeping up-to-date records of daily performance 
  • Identify customers’ needs and provide customized solutions on a comprehensive range of wealth management products to customers
  • Grow and strengthen the wealth of sophisticated customers through deepening customers relationships
  • Ensure all selling activities are in compliance with the bank’s guideline

Requirements:

  • University graduate, preferably major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • SFC (Type 1 &Type 4) license holder
  • Minimum 3 years' solid experience
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese ( including Putonghua).  Candidate who can speak Japanese will be an advantage as there could be another role looking after Japanese high-net-worth clients for the Bank 
  • Very good knowledge of investment products (e.g. insurance, funds, bonds etc)
  • Well-planned, strong analytical skills and solid track record in developing relationships with customers 
  • Familiar with banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Familiar with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing 
  • Immediate available could be an advantage

 

3) Product Manager, Insurance 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the day-to-day business related to insurance related areas, including client relationship management at least at the beginning of career.
  • Conduct due diligence for initial and on-going basis to make sure the product and product provider meets the standard set by the firm.
  • Make recommendation to the superiors that enhances the efficiency, productivity, and control of the team.
  • Market research (both top down and bottom up) using existing resources.
  • Conduct the product training to the RM or other employees when necessary from time to time, with the help from external product providers.
  • Close communication and interactions with different internal departments and external partners related to insurance business.
  • Introduce, develop, and facilitate new products.
  • Meet the quantitative (i.e. sales target) and qualitative target (i.e. new product development) related to relevant business areas.
  • Maintain the competency required by HKMA, SFC, IA and other relevant regulatory bodies and ordinances. 
  • Comply with the applicable external and internal control requirements, and actively manage the risks associated with day-to-day business activities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of combined working experience in the insurance/banking sector is a must. Detailed understanding over premium financing/policy financing is preferred. 
  • Qualification to act as an insurance agent is required (Non-Linked Long Term).
  • The incumbent must adhere to the policy and procedures set by the bank, and Code of Conduct or similar standards set by Hong Kong Monetary Authority (“HKMA”), Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”), and Insurance Authority (“IA”) at all times.
  • The incumbent must understand the limitation of one can do with or without the authorization of its senior staffs, but should do its best to support the day-to-day business and contribute to certain project by bringing additional efficiency to the team.
  • Be a self-starter when it comes to the relevant business coverage. In addition to meeting all the goals and instructions given by its superiors, one needs to proactively seek and embrace for any business opportunities.
  • Quantitative and qualitative goals for the year shall be instructed by the head of Product Business Development Department. The goals may change, added, or withdrawn as the trajectory of the business changes over time.
  • Need to have sufficient knowledge or relevant experience in financial product development area, particularly related to insurance and loans.
